Steve is a leadership development expert and former global business leader and nonprofit executive with a passion for helping nonprofit and for profit organizations serve their mission through stronger, more effective leaders at every level.

Drawing on over 15 years of experience in leadership development and nonprofit leadership, Steve has trained and coached leaders from more than 100 nonprofit organizations, as well as leaders across industries including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, banking, and professional services.

Steve's experience includes:

 

• Creating and leading a global organizational development function for 8 years at Hewlett Packard where he helped a $20B organization strengthen its leadership pipeline, improve performance, and increase employee engagement.
   

• Leading talent and leadership development at Idaho's largest healthcare systems.
   

• Designing and leading senior leader coaching and new leader integration at Paylocity.
   

• Serving as Chief People Officer (CHRO) at Idaho Youth Ranch, one of Idaho's largest nonprofits, where he led organizational culture and talent strategies.
   

• Partnering with the Idaho Nonprofit Center to design and deliver impactful leadership development for over 50 nonprofit organizations.

• Teaching leadership in Boise State University’s award winning MBA program.
