Steve is an organizational effectiveness and leadership development expert with experience as a global business leader, nonprofit executive, and advisor to organizations across sectors.

During more than 15 years of work in organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and people strategy, Steve has trained, coached, and advised leaders across nonprofit, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, banking, and professional-services organizations.

Steve's experience includes:

 

• Creating and leading a global organizational development and capability function for eight years at Hewlett-Packard, supporting a $20B organization through leadership, talent, career development, performance improvement, and organizational capability initiatives.
   

• Leading talent and leadership development and change support at Idaho's largest healthcare system.
   

• Designing and leading senior leader coaching and new leader integration at Paylocity.
   

• Serving as Chief People Officer (CHRO) at Idaho Youth Ranch, one of Idaho's largest nonprofits, where he led organizational culture and talent strategies.
   

• Partnering with the Idaho Nonprofit Center to design and deliver impactful leadership development for over 50 nonprofit organizations.

• Teaching leadership in Boise State University’s award winning MBA program.
